CRISIS UKRAINE 2014-Present RUSSIAN FORCES is the first book in the CRISIS UKRAINE trilogy. This volume covers the Russian Army volunteers* who are currently fighting in Ukraine. This book focuses primarily on the 9th Motor Rifle brigade, 18th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade and the 200th Motor Rifle Brigade as those are volunteer* units that have been positively identified as being on Ukrainian Soil. This book can be used for the Ukrainian Civil War of 2014, the Annexation (Invasion) of Crimea and the continued fighting in the Donbas-Luhansk region(s) of Ukraine.

Included in this volume are comprehensive rules for the modern electronic battlefield, including ground surveillance radars, drone cameras, armed drones, IR smoke, Krasnopol Ammunition, upgraded ATGM’s such as the Akaka and the Shturm as well as trench fighting, and upgraded armour for Russian tanks such as the Shotra/Arena package and Kontakt-5 ERA and composite armours!

This book introduces new Russian equipment such as the 2s19 MSTAS-s self-propelled artillery platform, the 2s7 Psion and the TOS-1 Burantino artillery systems; the (infamous) 9k37 BUK Anti-Aircraft Missile System, the Tunguska Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun and Missile System; the T-90a, the T-80u, the up-armoured T-72bv and the T-62e tanks as well as the BTR-80, BRM-1k, BMP-3 and the Gaz Tigr Armoured Personnel Carriers. Along with modern anti-tank rounds, artillery rounds (such as Rocket Assisted projectiles) and a new threat for the battlefield: DRONES!
